The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that align with business goals and industry best practices. This role ensures that cloud solutions support key projects and strategic objectives while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to determine viable cloud-based solutions
• Define and communicate cloud architecture aligned with business needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement cloud solutions
• Ensure governance of cloud standards and architecture
• Coordinate teams for cloud solution design and delivery
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure integration across cloud systems
• Maintain the integrity of cloud architecture

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field
• Certifications in TOGAF, Archimage, Domain Driven Design, UML, and Software Engineering (advantageous)
• 8-10 years of experience in IT solution delivery
• At least 3 years of experience as a Solutions Designer, Development Manager, or Team Leader
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Experience with Agile development environments
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, no-SQL, ERDs, DB modeling)
• Exposure to DevOps philosophy and practices
• Experience with various software development tools
